And the 2008 Meffy’s winner is…
We’re tingling with excitement at fring having just picked up this year’s Handset Application Award at the Meffy’s (think the Oscar’s of mobile content, but without the posh frocks, designer jewelry, and Halle Berry tears!) The award was gratefully accepted on behalf of the whole fring team by our very own Ben Eaton, fring’s Business Development Manager, at a glitzy Gala dinner and award ceremony hosted by popular TV presenter and Gadget Show guru Suzi Perry in Cannes, on the French Riviera, Thursday evening (tough job Ben, but someone had to do it!)Rimma Perelmuter, MEF Executive Director, said “Above all, the companies selected by the Meffys judges clearly focused on putting the consumer first†– this brought the biggest smile to our face as it’s the one thing we work hardest at and we hope all you fringsters agree with Rimma!
The Meffy’s girls and guys reviewed over 200 awards submissions, from 21 countries worldwide, and we are really thrilled to have added a Meffy to our trophy cabinet, proving that the fring love continues to spread around the world!
