New fring version 3.36 (Symbian) just arrived

Hi guys

Big excitement here at fring – we’ve just released fring’s latest version 3.36, with some v cool new upgrades (available for all Symbian 9 devices)

Having upgraded the GUI (the way it looks to you and me) fring is now better looking (as if that were possible) and more user friendly with an upgraded menu structure, and all of your favorite online communities and cool new fring Add-ons available in one easy place, making it simpler than ever to find what you need.

And the new version now supports FAXL 3 Add-on development language 1st (if you’re a developer you’ll be excited – if not this will sound like a foreign lingo!) so that any Add-ons developed can now go live.

We’ve also fixed a few bugs you’ve reported to us, to make fringing even more fun!

Get it now here, or from your phone (close your current version of fring, point your phone browser to www.fring.com and click Download to be taken through the simple process)

Hey guys here is a list of bugs from African users:
1. The fringME widget has bugs and shows mobile number instead of user id.Nokia E90
2. Facebook add-on stopped working. E90
3. On N73 couldn’t get past the loading screen. it just jammed.

Thanks for the hard work.Hope you find the bugs soon.

Nope,

I’ve installed Fring 3.36 on my n95 8GB, V 30.0.018, and it doesn’t work. It shows the loading image and after that it crash. Sometimes I have to reboot the system.

In order to make this SW work, I would appreciate any additional comments to your “It DOES work…” as a very nice contribution.

Nokia N95 8GB v30.0.018 has many problems. New software v31.0.015 has just been released. Uninstall fring, install v31 and then install latest version of fring for it to work smoothly.

I think your Nokia N95 8GB has a problem with RAM memory. When Fring loading into your RAM memory, you get crash of the system or Reset.
Or try loading once more and make new Install

It won’t recognize shift key on my E71 and there is no way to turn the sound off for the window you’re already watching. =(

Apart from that, it’s one of my most favorite symbian applications.

On E90 the fringme gadget don’t allow the gps position…. Why? In privacy options on e90 i tell that accept to visualize my position. The gps is actived…. but THE FRING ME gadget dont’ see my position. I’ve also write to fring support but nothing to do! SIgh…

Since October 30, 2008 i cant connect to fring on my mobile Nokia E65. I also have tried different wifi networks and nokia E51 for this purpose but before it was working good.

Does fring 3.36 on symbian9 (e90) allow me to change the VOLUME during a conversation (handset/loudspeaker)?

I have not found a way to do that on fring 3.35.40 .

If it’s a case of DUK, i’m happy to be set straight.

Is it probably that Fring 3.36 still does not work on the Nokia N95 8 GB version 30.0.018?

Does it NOW work on N70. I tried the earlier version of fring and it always hanged on my N70. Finally gave up (uninstalled). If assured by someone, I will certainly install and give fring another go.

I downloaded this fridge fring more than four times and its stil not registering. The initial version I had couldnt recognize my flat form, E51. I’m so disappointed that if I’d get my hands of this fring I’d hurl it on the wall. What did you guys up grade? Its a disgrace.

why does fring 4.02(5) not load on N95 8gb V 35.0.001. i tried installing it like 10 times. but still it doesnt work. it keeps loading and then crashes. the error i get is connection cant load. im tryin to use it thru WiFi. All other applications load except for fring. Pls help as i miss using fring. cant live wid out it.

I have a Nokia 5800XM phone how come it cannot support the new version of fring…when i downloaded it, it says the sis file is no tsupported.is there any apps I have to download first??please help me…I have the previous version but it cannot download the VoIP successfully why is this…please help me..

You cannot run fring on your mac. You can download it to your mac and transfer to your phone.
