iPhone 3G – Recycle your box in a unique way

iMod.co.za is reporting that an interesting new use for the iPhone box has been found.

“Nathan Barry thought outside the box (or inside) on this one, and it’s truly brilliant! He took the plastic packaging that the iPhone 3G came in and with a sharp knife, he grooved a slot, which can house the iPhone sideways.”

According to Nathan the only problem was that if you leave the clock on all night “it drains the battery”, his solution? ‘Airplane Mode’ This setting “turns off all the radios – wi-fi, 3G, GPS etc. You can’t receive calls or texts, but who wants to during the night anyway?”

“As you can see from the above image,” NAthans modification is a “simple groove, which shouldn’t take more than a few minutes and this is what the end result is..”

“Ingenious!”

Yes it sure looks like an ingenious idea to me, fringsters why not give this a try or even better yet, why not come up with your own eco friendly recycling design and put your iPhone box to good use. If you come up with a design that you feel is totally amazing and you wanna share it with the rest of us, just send us the link to your image and and we will show it to the world ;-)
