Got my sipgate working great on the Fring app

I too got sipgate to work, but the downsides with sipgate are:
(1) they block connections from other sip providers,
(2) if you're a non-UK based user the only call-in numbers you can get are German numbers, and the free German call-in number they give you can only be reached from PSTN phones in the German network (and Skype which routes via its German PSTN gateway).

yeah, I have sipgate too... not had any problems, but as Quist says, Im in England... so may not see those that others do.

im in sweden and i joined up with
sipgate.co.uk and got a 0845 number
works great with fring plus most of
my contacts are english so its a local
call for them to reach me

I use Sipgate and no issues. I get a call on my ATA (home phone) and on my mobile at the same time when i am out and about! cool.
They do not bock other sip providers either
