[fring Support]

Hi there you Symbian 9 guys,

We just released an updated fring client for Nokia S60 Version 9 handsets (N80, E61, N91, N73 etc.). This new version (at last) fixes the volume issue so now you can hear the other party even better

And while we were at it, we combined ‘search a fring contact’ with ‘invite a new friend’ to create an easy and fast way to add new fringsters.

Known Issue:
On N71 (firmware 4.0642.1.05), if fring is unable to find a valid access point and you click on ‘Exit’ - the application will close with an error message “App Closed: fring”.

To try this version - simply go to our download page and …. oh, you know the drill.

But the handsfree is not working in my E61
I am very disappointed guy's....
can't you make the handsfree feature work like at N95??

Just installed on my N73!

This version is better that 3.02 but I still have some problems:

I still cannot connect completely to skype network
I only can see 2 of my 40+ online contacts.

About SIP I'm testing it with my account wit Eutelia Voip and, even if the UMTS signal is at maximum I've poor audio quality

I've only tried WiFi on my N80 for skype and hotmail, so far so good. Not greatly important but would llike the loudspeaker in the future versions.

Am currently changing data plan so will let you know what it's like over 3G/GPRS.

This is great guys, but when I get the SMS my phone is telling me the version being intalled is 3.07? Do you have a link to where I can download the software?

I still get a link to 3.07 when I try to download from my N95....Is there a different version for it?

3.07 is still the latest version available version for the N95 (which is Symbian 9.1)... But no worries - it's got loudspeaker support, which 3.20 doesn't!

Ok, installed new 3.20

Now i'm stuck at registration.

Fring keeps complaining that"Registration failed, please try again".

I tried the udi/pwd I had used with previous version, tried to register under a new uid/pwd, no success.

I checked my pwd with www.fring/password

I noticed my pwd might be too long.
Not sure I'm able to enter the last 2 chars.

Anyway I can change my pwd ?
