The android version has a full Skype support just like the rest of the fring family (voice and chat)

This is what they posted on Facebook today... I wonder if they will include the people from this thread who volunteered for betatesting.

Yes, good news:
The version was sent out today to 25 Alpha testers.
If all goes well I'll be sending out more early access invitations early next week.
Keep an eye on this post 'cause that's where the info is going to be posted.

The fringdroid is on its way...

What was the point of posting here then. you have been putting it out as a lottery on facebook, whoever email faster can get it. Those who posted here are the ones who probably use it the most and care about it. whatever, but I expected some respect to those who found this topic and put the time to post.

I would like to be considered for the beta program on Android. I will have a Motorola Droid w/Android 2.0 next week for testing. Thanks!!!

Send an email to earlyaccess [at] fring.com with your phone model, IMEI and country and we'll get you on the second round of the early access.

Send an email earlier today hopefull of getting into the beta program.

Has the second round of invites been send out already?

I got my HTC hero a few weeks ago, and was completely surprised that there was no Skype support at all... So whatever needs to be done to get good VOIP running on android..
