Hi,
I have a problem with registeration to fring on my nokia N70. I removed version 2.74 and installed 3.0. When it starts it asks me to choose login and password - whatever i put there program says registration failed (it looks like authentication problem). Does anyone know how to handle that problem ? BR MD |

I did a firmware upgrade to my N80 yesterday and had to reinstall FRING afterwards. I used the sms I had been sent before. It seemed to install fine, but it would not get past the registration. I tried different names and passwords but its a no go. I am hope someone here knows what i can do. I tried requesting a new sms but I did not receive one. The last time I got one support had to send it to me. Any help would be much appreciated.

i have the same problem on my N91 i get the error message "registration failed please try again" please i need help as soon as possible

I went ahead and just put a four number password instead of a six alpha-numeric password like i had been trying and it registered and logged in. Give this a try I hope it works for others with this problem.

hi there,
something wrong with registration: i deinstalled the fring software after it could not connected. than i used another simcard to get a new downloadlink and forwaredet to my main simcard. when i want to register with my old name, no chance as simcardnumber is hardcoded in the software. also if i choose a new username, the system tells me that registration is not possible. so as result i am now unable to use fring anymore :-( also a way to loose users :-( Wolfgang |

Guys,
The "registration failed" message when trying to upgrade is actually a 'Login failed" message. You are already registered on the server and therefore you need to enter your existing password. To retrieve your password, go to www.fring.com/password If it doesn't work - drop me a line (or 2) and we'll work it out. |
