Here in the fringcubator lab, we’re continually testing and improving fring’s new developments and from
time to time we like to offer you the chance to get your hands on preview versions of the new things we’re working on. The developments available from the fringcubator won’t always be pretty to look at, or have all of their final features available and they won’t always behave perfectly! But, we think you’ll enjoy playing with the cool new stuff we’re developing anyway, prior to the final versions being released.  fring for your iPhone - it’s a fringing world first!
OK. So you’re one of the first to have one of the coolest bits of kit ever created.
Well now you can also become one of the first to get your hands on one of the coolest mobile apps ever created, because we’ve just made a special “lite” pre-release, R&D version of fring available for the iPhone - a publicly available mobile VoIP app for iPhone?…that’s a world-first too!
fring up your iPhone with this pre-release, development version and discover the freedom of taking all of your fring®, Skype®, MSN®, Google Talk™, ICQ, Twitter, Yahoo!™ & AIM® buddies mobile on your iPhone, allowing you to make free calls over WiFi & enjoy rich, IM-style chat with them using internet connection.
This special pre-release version of fring, has been developed in conjunction with the Holon Institute of Technology academic research labs in response to iPhone users urging us to let them join the growing community of fringsters in over 180 countries worldwide. During the R&D period, we’ll be listening to feedback, so we can fine tune the final version and create a truly kicking user experience for iPhone users.

   fringME! widget
The fringME!™ widget enables fringsters to take their favourite fring features and apply them to their various social network pages, blogs, online auctions, web sites and even email signatures - in fact pretty much anywhere the user has an internet presence, fringME! enhances communication and connectivity between the fringster and his/her online world.
Once installed on a webpage, the fringME! widget allows internet community members and all other internet users the opportunity to access some of fring’s most popular functions, including the ability to view the fringster’s ‘availability’ (online, offline, or ’in a call’), and instantly begin a fring IM chat session, regardless of the fringster’s location.
In addition to offering familiar fring features, the fringME! widget also includes a number of new innovations, the first of which is a real-time, location-based “find me” presence feature, which instantly opens a GoogleMaps™ window showing the fringster’s real time on the move whereabouts via his/her GPS-equipped handset. Privacy settings inside fring mobile software enable the service to be switched on or off, depending on the fringster’s desire to be locatable at any one time.
