fring welcomes Java ME and Linux users! |
|
|
minifring for Java ME (mobile Java)
Following popular request for fring to be avaialbe on mid-range phones, we developed a lite
version called minifring especially for Java ME devices that don’t support voice over IP
calling. minifring has the same fantastic fring user experience, with rich multi-IM chat,
presence (contact availability indicators) and many more fring features coming soon.
fring turns Linux MID into a VoIP phone!
fring now also supports the Linux platform, effectively turning the Nokia N810 MID into a
VoIP phone with free calls, live chat and more, over its WiFi internet connection.
All this means you have lots more friends to fring with … so pass the word around to
all your friends who can now join the rest of us!

fring features now on more handsets |
|
|
fring is now in English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Italian & Russian for Windows
Mobile (3.24) and UIQ (3.30) users, as well. fring automatically installs in your handset’s
default language but you can select another at More > Settings.
Just about everyone can fring-a-ling-a-long with fringtones now that UIQ (3.30) is also
supported. Download from our selection of more than 60 fringtones, vote for your favorite or
submit your own here.
Windows Mobile (3.24) now auto-roams between 3G & WiFi without you even knowing
you’re within WiFi coverage! You’ll join the rest of us saving fiddling time and money by
automatically using free WiFi instead of your 3G data plan.
Also extending your mobile freedom, the fringME! widget is now activated for all Windows
Mobile (3.24) and UIQ (3.30) devices letting your buddies communicate with you from any
internet location where you’ve pasted the cute fringME! HTML code – like your blog, email
signature, website or community.
It’s fringing everywhere!
